The Nintendo Promos is a set of Pokémon cards that were released in Japan in the late 1990s. These cards were promotional giveaways from Nintendo and the Pokémon anime. The set contains a mix of rare cards, holofoil cards and bonus cards. There are 50 cards in the set, all with unique art and names. The majority of cards were distributed in packs of two, and each card was printed as a one-of-a-kind. The cards range from basic pocket monsters to powerful evolutions, plus a few special cards. The cards feature characters from the Pokémon Red and Blue games, such as Charizard, Blastoise, Meowth, and Jigglypuff. The set also includes the recently-introduced Eevee, as well as some Fossil and Mineral Pokémon. The cards feature several interesting abilities and come with an assortment of illusory, fantastical effects and attacks. The artwork featured on each card is also unique in its own way, depicting the featured Pokémon in a very distinctive fashion.
