Pokemon card set Double Crisis consists of two mini-sets, named Team Magma VS Team Aqua and Zoroark-GX. The two sets are both part of the Pokemon XY series and were released in 2016. The cards in the set depict a conflict between two criminal organizations: Team Magma and Team Aqua. Both teams are competing for control of an ancient artifact known as the Primal Crystal in order to summon the legendary beasts Groudon and Kyogre and unleash a powerful, devastating force. The set includes both full-art and reverse holo cards, making it especially collectible. The Team Magma VS Team Aqua mini-set contains ten regular packs, each containing eight cards. The set showcases some of the most powerful Pokemon of the XY series, such as Primal Groudon-EX and Primal Kyogre-EX. The Zoroark-GX set is comprised of seven double packs, each containing sixteen cards. This set has some of the most powerful cards in the set, like Zoroark-GX, Magcargo-GX, and Carbink-GX. These cards all have strong attacks that can be very effective in the competitive Pokemon environment. The Double Crisis set also includes various Trainer and Energy cards that support the powerful Pokemon cards from the set. These Trainer cards allow players to search their decks for specific Pokemon and Energy cards, while Energy cards provide the necessary resources for the Pokemon cards to attack.
