Cosmic Eclipse

Cosmic Eclipse is the final set in the Pokemon Trading Card Game’s Sun & Moon series. It was released on November 1, 2019 and features 231 cards (234 with the special energy cards) and 8 secret rare cards. The set takes place in a space-like environment, where galaxies and nebulae loom in the backdrop. This set features powerful new cards with new mechanics to expand deck building strategies as well as brand new Pokemon from the Alola, Galar, and alternate universes, such as the Ultra Beasts. The set is focused on the strength and power of GX cards and TAG TEAM GX cards. As a result, Cosmic Eclipse includes a variety of new, high-powered Pokemon-GX cards, as well as Tag Team-GX cards which give the player access to highly powerful attacks and abilities. A number of existing characters also have new GX/Tag-Team versions, such as Mewtwo & Mew GX and Charizard & Braixen GX. The set also includes support cards of various types, including Trainer, Energy, special-energy, and Supporter cards. Cosmic Eclipse also introduces new mechanics such as the Fullmetal Flame and Spiraling Cut Abilities, as well as a number of new powerful attacks such as the GX attacks.
